Leek stew with smoked pork

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g potatoes
  • 500 g leek
  • 1 liter meat broth, hot
  • 400 g boneless smoked pork
  • 2 tsp mustard
  • 1 tsp marjoram
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Peel and dice the potatoes. Clean the leek and cut into rings (approx. 1/2 cm). Heat a little oil and briefly fry both. Deglaze with the hot meat broth and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes. Clean and dice the smoked pork, and add it to the vegetables. Season everything with marjoram, mustard, salt, and pepper and cook with the lid on for another 10 minutes.
