Lemon and Garlic Chicken
The perfect lemon and garlic chicken recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 Chicken approx. 1.4 kg
- Salt pepper
- 800 g Small potatoes
- 1 untreated Lemon
- 3 Garlic cloves
- Tarragon, sage, rosemary, or parsley
- 2 Tl Frozen herbs of Provence
- 3 tbsp Butter
- Wash the chicken, pat dry. Rub salt and pepper inside and out. Fry in a preheated oven at 175 C. for about 30 minutes.
- Peel and wash the potatoes. Wash lemon. Peel the garlic belly. Cut everything into slices and after 30 minutes spread around the chicken and season. Fry for another 30 minutes.
- Wash and chop herbs. Melt the butter. Mix with all the herbs and after 1 hour spread over the chicken and potatoes. Fry for another 10 minutes.
