Lemon butter sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 small onions
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 300 ml vegetable stock
  • 125 ml dry white wine
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 50 g butter
  • e.g. lemon juice
  • 1 pinch(s) of salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Sauté the finely chopped onions and garlic in butter. Add the flour and sauté. Then add the vegetable stock and white wine and season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Let the sauce simmer for about 10 minutes. It pairs well with fish.
