Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 liter of water
- 300 g sugar
- 7 m.-sized lemon(s)

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Sicilian-style lemon ice cream
Squeeze the lemons. Combine the water and sugar in a small saucepan and heat gently, stirring until the sugar dissolves. You can also use the same amount of powdered sugar; it will go a little faster this way. Add the squeezed lemon juice and continue stirring. Let the juice cool, pour into ice cube trays, and freeze. Once frozen, place the cubes in a food processor or crusher, mash until smooth, and serve. Where I come from, we enjoy freshly crushed ice cream in the middle of a brioche.
