Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 240 ml cream
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 454 g tagliatelle pasta
  • 2 tsp lemon(s) – zest, grated
  • Salt
  • Black pepper, freshly ground
  • Parmesan, freshly grated, for garnishing
  • Parsley, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Melt the butter in a deep pan, stir in the cream, lemon juice, and one uncrushed garlic clove. Cover the pan and keep warm. Cook the pasta according to the instructions. Set aside 120 ml of the pasta cooking water and drain the pasta. Remove the garlic and add the pasta to the pan, along with the lemon zest and 2 tablespoons of the pasta cooking water, along with the desired amount of chopped parsley. Mix well, adding more cooking water to thin if necessary. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
