Lemon pasta with pesto

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g tagliatelle pasta, fresh, bought or homemade
  • 1 lemon(s)
  • 50 g butter
  • 10 g Parmesan
  • 1 jar pesto, red
  • salt and pepper
  • Garlic

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

vegetarian, easy, quick

Cook the tagliatelle pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. When the tagliatelle pasta is almost done, heat about 2/3 of the butter in a pan. Add a little salt, pepper, and crushed garlic to the melted butter and fry briefly over low heat. When the pasta is done, add it to the pan and fry. Squeeze the lemon over the pasta. I do this by hand, but you can also do it beforehand with a citrus press and just add the juice. Season the pasta again with salt, pepper, and garlic, add the remaining butter to the pasta and let it melt. Then fry until browned to your liking. I like to add a little Parmesan to the pasta at this point and fry it with the pasta; this is optional. Transfer the pasta to a plate and top with pesto, if desired, and finally Parmesan. Note: You can also vary the dish to taste, e.g., with lime, different pasta, cheese, or pesto. I can also imagine adding nuts to it.
