Lemon sugar

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 organic lemon(s), zest/peel

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Wash the lemon in hot water, dry it, and peel the rind very thinly, leaving the white part untouched. Grind it with 100g of sugar. Let it dry, then add another 50g of sugar and mix well. Store in a container to protect it from the aroma. If the dried lemon sugar is solid, simply grind it again and then mix it with the remaining sugar. Use: – in quark – on desserts – on ice cream – in cakes
