Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 onion(s)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 bell pepper(s), green
- 400 g minced meat
- 1 pack of tomatoes, pureed (500 grams)
- 150 g lentils, red
- Pepper, freshly ground
- 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper (if you like it hot)
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic. Dice the bell pepper. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan and fry the onion and garlic until translucent. Add the minced meat and fry, stirring, until crumbly. Now add the passata, diced bell pepper, and lentils. Cover and cook for about 15 minutes. Finally, season with salt, pepper, paprika, and cayenne pepper. If you like it spicy, you can also add a little chili powder 😉 You can eat it with rice or pasta, and I personally think it’s best with farfalle and a little sour cream.
