simple, quick and delicious

Combine the yogurt, sour cream, sugar, pepper, lemon juice, and chives. Add the apple and onion and mix. Pat the herring dry with a paper towel and cut into 1×2 cm pieces. Add to the other ingredients, stir, and serve. This herring salad is delicious with boiled potatoes or bread. I like to use herring marinated in oil. It can be used immediately. Be sure to soak herring in brine for at least 1-2 hours beforehand, otherwise it will be too salty.
