Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Low-calorie sweet snacks, makes about 20 pieces
Beat the eggs with a whisk until the egg whites and yolks are well blended. Then beat in the quark until everything is smooth. Stir in the sweetener or sugar. Mix the flour with the baking powder and fold it into the batter with a spoon. A spoonful is enough for stirring, as the batter is very soft. Now use the spoon to place small heaps of dough onto a baking tray lined with baking paper. Muffin cups are only suitable to a limited extent, as the rolls are difficult to remove from the baking tray. Baking paper, on the other hand, is no problem. If you want to fill the rolls, simply place a small dollop on the baking tray, then add the chocolate or a piece of banana, and place another dollop of dough on top to serve as a lid. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 15-20 minutes. When the rolls turn brown, they’re done. By the way, you can freeze the rolls and then reheat them in the microwave. It only takes seconds, and they’ll be just as soft and fluffy as if they were straight out of the oven. Without filling and sweetened with sweetener, one roll has about 55 kcal.
