Light onion tart with ham

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 pack of puff pastry, rolled from the refrigerated section
  • 4 onions
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 100 g cheese, grated (Emmental)
  • 400 g sour cream
  • 1 tsp caraway seeds, whole
  • n. B. herb salt and pepper
  • 150 g lean ham, diced
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

Working time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Place the puff pastry in a 28 cm springform pan or quiche dish, pulling the edges up slightly. Peel and finely chop the onion, peel and mince the garlic, and mix both with the grated cheese, eggs, diced ham, and sour cream. Season the mixture generously with salt, pepper, and caraway seeds and spread it over the puff pastry base. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 40-45 minutes. The baking time depends on the oven, of course. I like to serve it with a fresh green salad.
