Light Panna Cotta

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 6 tbsp cream (alternatively Cremefine)
  • 250 ml milk
  • 1 vanilla pod(s) (alternatively 1 packet of vanilla sugar)
  • 3 sheets of gelatin
  • 2 tbsp sugar (reduce if using vanilla sugar)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes

Light variation of the Italian dessert classic

Combine the cream and milk. Bring to a boil along with the vanilla pod and sugar. Simmer gently for about 10 minutes. In the meantime, soak the gelatin in cold water according to the package instructions. Then squeeze out the water and dissolve the gelatin in the milk. Transfer the mixture to suitable containers and refrigerate for about 2 hours. Turn the panna cotta out onto a plate and serve. Serve with a fruit sauce or compote.
