Lightning-fast microwave dish: Leberkäse with peas and carrots

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 slice(s) Leberkäse, fine or coarse, if necessary 2 slices, approx. 1 cm thick
  • 1 small can of peas and carrots, extra fine, approx. 130 g
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 3 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 3 minutes; Total time approx. 6 minutes

Place the Leberkäse on a flat plate. Drain the peas and carrots and pour them over the Leberkäse, ensuring it is completely covered. Place a small knob of butter on top. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt. Microwave everything for 3 minutes at 2/3 of its maximum power, using a microwave-safe lid if available. If the butter isn’t completely melted, let it stand for a while.
