Spread the love

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 1 package of puff pastry, frozen, 10 slices
  • 1 can tomatoes, pureed, approx. 100 g
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • some sugar
  • Salt
  • Oregano, dried
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 slices of cooked ham
  • 1 small can of mushrooms, sliced
  • 50 g grated cheese (Gouda or Emmental)
  • e.g. salami or pineapple, onion, capers, tuna etc.

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Let the puff pastry thaw for about 10 minutes. Preheat the oven to 200°C fan/convection oven. Meanwhile, finely chop the garlic and lightly sauté in olive oil (without browning). Add the tomatoes, season with spices, and simmer gently for 5 minutes. Loosely roll the puff pastry sheets 1 cm on all four sides (to create a small border) and place them on two baking sheets lined with baking paper. Spread a little tomato sauce on each. Then arrange the mushrooms, cooked ham, and/or other toppings on top and sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
