Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 750 g mashed potatoes
- 3 eggs
- 1 pinch of salt
- 3 tbsp wheat flour type 405
- 1 ½ tsp, leveled baking powder
- Fat for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Potato cookies, just like grandma made them
Mix all the ingredients into a batter. Heat a pan with oil, then add a tablespoon of batter to the hot oil and fry the potato cakes. My grandma also used mashed boiled potatoes. You can serve them with beetroot syrup, applesauce, or even a slice of black bread.
