Low-carb gyro soup

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g chicken breast fillet(s)
  • 2 tbsp gyro seasoning
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • salt and pepper
  • curry
  • some olive oil for frying
  • 4 onions
  • 4 bell peppers, mixed
  • 1 m.-large pointed cabbage
  • 1 can tomatoes, chopped
  • 250 ml cream, Cremefine or similar
  • 500 ml vegetable broth (it can be a little spicy)
  • 200 g processed cheese

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Party soup – quick and delicious

Cut the chicken into strips and toss with the olive oil and gyro seasoning. Sauté the onions in the oil, add the meat, and sear until crispy. Then add the pepper strips, tomatoes, chopped garlic, and shredded pointed cabbage. Season, top up with the broth, and simmer for about 15-20 minutes. Finally, add the cream and the processed cheese and let it simmer until the processed cheese has melted. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
