Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 cans of tuna in its own juice
  • 2 eggs
  • pepper
  • 2 large tomatoes
  • 50 g mozzarella, grated
  • 50 g Emmental cheese, grated
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 small garlic clove(s)
  • oregano
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • some ketchup

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

with lots of protein

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (top/bottom heat). For the batter, drain the two cans of tuna in a sieve. In a bowl, whisk the eggs, season with pepper, and mix with the tuna until no large pieces remain. Spread the mixture, not too thinly, on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and place in the oven for 20 minutes, until the batter has a light golden edge. Meanwhile, for the topping, wash and chop the tomatoes, but thinly slice one half. Now puree the chopped tomatoes with the onion and garlic and season with ketchup, oregano, salt, and pepper. Remove the batter from the oven, spread with the pureed tomatoes, and top with the remaining tomato slices. Sprinkle with the cheese and return to the oven for another 10 minutes.
