Low-carb pizza dough

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 8 egg whites
  • 4 tsp arrowroot flour (arrowroot starch)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp, leveled herbs, Italian
  • n. B. Salt
  • Pizza topping of your choice

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Preheat the oven to approximately 200°C (fan oven or pizza setting) for approximately 15 minutes. Beat the egg whites until stiff, then stir in the starch and seasonings. Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with lightly oiled baking paper or onto two round pizza pans, also lined with oiled baking paper. Bake in the hot oven for approximately 15 minutes, until the dough is lightly browned. If you like it crispy, turn it over and bake for another 8 minutes. The crispier the dough is before adding the toppings, the less it will be soggy later. Now add the toppings as desired and bake for another 15 minutes, depending on the topping. Makes 2 round pizzas, each 32 cm. Each pizza base has 362 kcal and 15 g of carbohydrates.
