Low-carb pizza with chickpea flour

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g chickpea flour
  • 2 tsp, leveled baking powder
  • 1 tsp, heaped salt
  • 130 ml milk
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion(s), red
  • 75 ml tomato paste, seasoned
  • 1 can of tuna
  • 12 olives
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red
  • e.g. pizza cheese
  • n. B. Pizza seasoning
  • oregano

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 11 minutes; Total time approx. 36 minutes

Combine the milk, olive oil, and salt in a large bowl. Combine the chickpea flour with the baking powder and slowly stir into the liquid, stirring with a dough hook, until a dough forms. Line a round pizza pan or a small baking sheet with parchment paper. Dust the dough with chickpea flour if it’s sticky! Carefully roll out the dough and place it on the baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 250°C (480°F) for 3 minutes. Remove from the oven and spread with seasoned tomato paste. Then top with onion rings, tuna, and olives. Finally, sprinkle with pizza cheese and pizza seasoning or oregano. Bake for another 8 minutes.
