Lower Bavarian Cheese Salad According to Gerhardart
The perfect lower bavarian cheese salad according to gerhardart recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 250 g Celery with leaves
- 2 piece Apples
- 300 g Sliced cheese – I take Maasdammer –
- 2 piece Carrots
- 40 g Walnuts
- 200 g Crumble feta
- 200 g Sour cream
- 5 tbsp Milk
- Salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- Clean and wash the celery and cut into small pieces. Remove the core from the apples and cut into small wedges. Peel and wash the carrots and cut or slice them into sticks. Cut the cheese into small strips and roughly chop (chop) the walnuts. Mix the celery with the greens, apples, carrots and the cheese. Crumble (crush) the feta with a fork, stir with sour cream and milk until creamy. Season to taste with salt, pepper and a little lemon juice. Then fold into the salad (mix everything). Now sprinkle with the chopped walnuts and serve! Strong bread tastes very good with it! The salad can easily be kept cool for 2-3 days.
