Macaroni and mince dish from my childhood

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g pasta (macaroni)
  • 250 g minced meat, half and half
  • 1 medium-sized onion(s), roughly diced
  • 1 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • ½ liter meat broth
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • Maggi

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Brown the ground beef in a nonstick pan with oil until it forms chunky pieces, then add the diced onion and sauté lightly. Break the macaroni into small pieces and add it raw. Now add the meat broth, cover, and simmer for about 15 minutes over low heat. Once the pasta is cooked and has absorbed the meat broth, the dish is ready. Season to taste with the spices mentioned above and serve. If you like, you can also sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley. We always served it with a fresh, green lettuce.
