Ingredients for 8 servings:

  • 1,500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 can peas
  • 1 can mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 jar tomato peppers, pickled
  • 3 tbsp shashlik sauce
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 rolls, stale
  • 500g Gouda
  • 3 onions
  • some salt and pepper
  • 1 jar Hungarian-style paprika sauce
  • 1 cup of cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

A real man’s meal

Drain the peas, mushrooms, and tomato and peppers. Dice the Gouda, onions, and tomato and peppers. Grate the bread rolls. Season the minced meat generously with salt and pepper, then mix with the peas, mushrooms, onions, peppers, grated bread rolls, eggs, Gouda, and shish kebab sauce. Spread the mixture on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 50 minutes. Mix the paprika sauce and cream and heat on the stovetop. Then pour over the minced meat and vegetable mixture, spread it out, and return it to the oven for another 10 minutes.
