Make your own peach iced tea

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 6 peaches, preferably mountain peaches
  • 1 liter of water
  • 1 ½ tbsp green tea
  • some lemon slices
  • some ice cubes

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

makes 1 liter of iced tea

Wash and chop the peaches. Place them in a saucepan and add the water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 15 minutes. Then turn off the heat and let the mixture cool to approximately 80°C. Add the green tea. Close the lid and let it steep for 5 minutes. Then strain into a teapot, pressing the peaches firmly through the sieve. Let it cool and serve with ice cubes and lemon slices.
