Mandarin curd

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg quark
  • 200 ml whipped cream
  • 2 cans of tangerine(s)
  • n. B. sugar
  • 2 sheets of gelatin, if necessary

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Mix the quark with the whipped cream thoroughly. Drain the mandarins and add them to the quark and cream mixture. Add sugar to taste (we always use 2-3 tablespoons) and let it rest in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. If you like, you can also mix some of the mandarin orange juice into the quark. If you’re using the cream as a cake topping, use only half the ingredients and dissolve two sheets of gelatin and add it (this is what I always do).
