Mandarin curd with Christmas spices and almonds

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 350 g quark (20% fat in dry matter)
  • some mineral water if needed
  • ½ tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 pinch of clove powder
  • 1 pinch of ginger powder
  • 1 pinch of cardamom powder
  • 2 tbsp honey, liquid
  • 2 mandarins or 1 orange
  • 2 tbsp desiccated coconut
  • 2 tbsp almond flakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Place the quark in a bowl. If it’s not creamy enough, add a little mineral water until smooth. Then add the spices and honey and whisk thoroughly. Peel the mandarins or oranges, removing all of the white layer. Roughly chop the fruit pieces and mix them into the quark. Place the mandarin quark in two small bowls and sprinkle with the desiccated coconut and flaked almonds.
