Mandarin Philadelphia Cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g ladyfingers
  • 100 g butter, melted
  • 1 pack of jelly (lemon)
  • 1 cup water
  • 200 g cream cheese (Philadelphia)
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 lemons
  • 2 cups of cream (250 g each)
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 can of tangerine(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

without baking

Grind the ladyfingers in a food processor and mix with the butter. Transfer to a greased springform pan and press down firmly. Reserve a handful. Let the jelly soak in water for 10 minutes and heat through, but do not boil. Mix the Philadelphia cheese with 3-4 tablespoons of sugar, vanilla sugar, and lemon juice. Fold in the melted jelly. Fold in the stiffly whipped cream, followed by the mandarins. Pour the cream onto the cake base in the pan. Sprinkle the remaining sponge crumbs on top. Prepare the cake the day before and refrigerate overnight.
