simple but delicious recipe, makes 12 muffins

Either grease the muffin tin thoroughly or use paper muffin cups. First, roughly chop the chocolate into pieces, separate the eggs, and beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Then, beat the sugar, margarine, and egg yolks until fluffy. Now add the flour, yogurt, vanilla sugar, and baking powder and mix everything well until you have a smooth batter. Add the stiffly beaten egg whites and carefully fold them in. Next, put some of the batter into a separate bowl (I use about 1/3 of the batter). Add the 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder to the separated portion. Add the roughly chopped chocolate pieces to the original batter. Divide the light batter among all the cases and then place the dark batter on top. Bake the muffins in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 20-25 minutes.
