Marinade for fish for raclette

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g fish fillet(s)
  • 4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 4 tbsp white wine
  • 1 tsp lemon juice, fresh
  • 1 tsp sherry
  • 1 tsp cornstarch (cornflour)
  • 1 slice(s) fresh ginger, finely chopped
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, finely chopped
  • some salt and pepper, from the mill
  • some curry powder, mild to taste

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Whisk together the soy sauce, white wine, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Add the ginger, garlic, salt, and pepper (and a little curry powder if desired), and mix everything thoroughly. Cut the fish into 3 cm wide and 4 cm long strips and marinate for at least 30 minutes. You can also marinate and sauté the fish as is to make a leaf salad with fish strips.
