Marinade for prawns

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 50 ml orange juice, freshly squeezed
  • 50 ml lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 4 cl tequila
  • 2 cl Cointreau
  • 1 vanilla pod(s)
  • 1 chili pepper(s) (jalapeño)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 bunch of coriander leaves
  • Salt
  • pepper

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 10 minutes

Squeeze the lemon and orange and measure out 50 ml each. Finely slice the chili pepper and finely chop the coriander. Halve the vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape out the seeds. Place all ingredients in a freezer bag and mix. Add the scraped vanilla pod to the marinade. Add the prawns and marinate for at least 3 hours. To do this, stir the freezer bag occasionally to coat the prawns with the marinade and allow them to marinate. Grill the prawns as usual.
