Ingredients

For the marinade, for example:

  • 1 size Onion in strips
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Mustard hot
  • 1 teaspoon Barbecue seasoning

Instructions

  • ** Ready-to-use marinated pork steaks is available from every butcher today, but I prefer the "self-seasoned" ones.
  • To do this, I simply coat the meat with a few drops of oil and then season it according to our taste with either my grill spice, mustard, various types of pepper, garlic, smoked paprika, sometimes with lemon juice, beer, red wine or herbs . Here you can vary as much as you like.
  • It is important that the steaks are covered for at least an hour after seasoning - only then can they be fried in the heated pan.
  • Fry both sides until golden brown and then transfer to the preheated stove (at 140 degrees). In the empty pan, sear the onion strips until golden brown, season with salt and pepper and distribute on the steaks. Cook the steaks for about 10 minutes and prepare the side dishes during this time.
  • For me today there were french fries with a Mediterranean flavor and a cucumber salad. Arrange everything on plates and serve with a dollop of "sweet chili sauce" or "curry ketchup", if you like. Good Appetite!
