Marzipan orange sticks with hazelnut

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g marzipan paste
  • 2 egg whites
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 tbsp, levelled vanilla sugar
  • 1 pack of flavoring (orange flavor)
  • 50 g wheat flour
  • 80 g hazelnuts, chopped or sliced

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Cut the marzipan into fine cubes and mix with the egg whites until smooth. Stir in the sugar, vanilla sugar, and orange flavoring. Sift the flour over the mixture and fold it in. Transfer the mixture to a piping bag and pipe approximately 7 cm long strips onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake the strips in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for 12-15 minutes until light golden.
