Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 m.-sized potatoes
  • 100 ml milk or cream
  • 2 thick garlic cloves
  • 2 slices of bacon
  • butter
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

with oven-baked potatoes, bacon and garlic

Scrub the potatoes thoroughly under running water, rub them with butter, and cook in a casserole dish at 170°C fan/convection oven for 1-1.5 hours. When a fork sticks to the potato, they’re done. Peel the garlic cloves, dice them, place them in a dish greased with oil, and bake in the oven for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, fry the bacon in a pan until crispy, let it cool, and break it into small pieces. Place the cooked potatoes, still with their skins, in a saucepan and roughly break them up with a fork. Add the milk (cream), garlic, salt, pepper, and a little butter, and mash everything into a puree. Stir in the bacon and season with salt and pepper.
