Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g potatoes
- 2 eggs
- ⅛ liter milk (whole milk)
- 1 large onion(s)
- 50 g bacon
- Thyme
- basil
- marjoram
- Pepper from the mill
- Salt
- Fat for the mold
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Peel the potatoes and then grate them. Peel the onion and dice it along with the bacon. Mix the potatoes, eggs, and milk into a batter, then add the onion and bacon. Season to taste. Pour the batter into a greased casserole dish and bake in the oven at 180°C (convection oven) for a maximum of 2 hours. This dish pairs particularly well with game dishes.
