Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g flour
- 195 g sugar
- 1 egg(s)
- 3 egg yolks
- 125 g butter
- 500 g quark
- 400 g sour cream
- 150 ml oil
- 240 ml milk
- 1 packet of vanilla pudding powder
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 4 tsp matcha powder
- 1 pinch of salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 40 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 2 hours 10 minutes
Knead 250g flour, 75g sugar, vanilla sugar, 1 egg, butter, and a pinch of salt into a smooth dough. Chill for half an hour. Then roll out the dough into a 26cm cake tin and form a rim approximately 2cm high. Preheat the oven to 175°C (top/bottom heat). Mix together the quark, egg yolks, 120g sugar, sour cream, oil, milk, and pudding powder. Set aside 1/5 to 1/3 of the mixture, if desired. Stir the matcha powder into the remaining mixture. Pour the matcha mixture onto the dough and bake for 40 minutes. Then add the remaining quark mixture and bake for another 20 minutes, until the cake is nicely browned.
