Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 Maultaschen
  • 250 ml water
  • 1 tsp broth
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 3 slices of processed cheese (Allgäu toast cheese)
  • 1 tsp parsley, optional

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Bring the water and broth to a boil. Then turn off the heat, add the Maultaschen to the pot, and let it simmer for 10 minutes. Add the Maultaschen to a pan with the oil and fry on one side until crispy. Turn over and immediately place the toasted cheese on top. Let the cheese melt. Remove the Maultaschen from the pan and place on a plate. Sprinkle with parsley, if desired.
