Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 2 packs of Maultaschen, approx. 400g each
- 1 can of vegetables (Mexican vegetable mix)
- ½ cucumber(s)
- 2 eggs, hard-boiled
- 2 tomatoes
- 4 gherkins
- 1 onion(s)
- 100 g meat sausage
- 3 tbsp vinegar (wine vinegar)
- some cucumber juice
- 2 tbsp tartar sauce, or mayonnaise
- Salt
- pepper
- 1 dashes Worcestershire sauce
- some broth
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Let the Maultaschen simmer in broth according to the package instructions. Dice the onion, cut the Maultaschen into strips, dice the sausage, add the vegetables, and mix everything gently. Make a dressing from wine vinegar, pickle juice (a little broth may be added to thin it), mayonnaise, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour it over the other ingredients, mix gently, and let it marinate in the refrigerator.
