Marble Cake Roll with Jam, Two Cakes in One

- 3 Eggs
- 80 g Powdered sugar
- 80 g Sifted flour
- Dough 2
- 160 g Sugar
- 1 Pck. Vanilla sugar
- 5 Eggs
- 100 g Flour
- 1 Teaspoon (level) Baking powder
- 180 g Ground hazelnuts
- 3 tbsp Cocoa
- Jam
- Dough 1: Swiss roll with jam * 80 gr. Powdered sugar * 3 eggs Beat the ingredients for approx. 9 min until creamy and then carefully fold in 80 gr. Flour. * Jam for the roll (approx. 5 tbsp) * bake at 200 g. Fan-assisted for 5-10 min. Turn the biscuit plate onto the sugared cloth. Roll up the dough (with a towel inside), leave to cool
- Dough 2: Marble cake with hazelnuts * 170 g butter (room warm) * 160 g sugar * 1 packet vanilla sugar * 5 egg yolks Mix everything together. * 100 gr. Flour with 1 teaspoon baking powder (coated) * 180 gr. Hazelnuts ground * some milk and process with the remaining ingredients to a smooth dough. * Beat 5 egg whites with salt until stiff and fold into the mass.
- Roll out the sponge cake and spread it with jam and carefully roll up the plate again (tightly) and shorten each side by about 2-3 cm (because the roll comes up nicely when baking). In a greased loaf pan (mine is, H-7 cm, W-12 cm, L-34 cm) – fill the roll and dough. Bake at 170 ° C for about 35-45 minutes
- Decorate with powdered sugar or chocolate
