Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 1 large onion(s)
- 1 clove(s) garlic
- ½ bunch parsley, fresh
- 1 kg minced meat, mixed (beef with lamb)
- 200 g breadcrumbs
- 3 tbsp oil
- 1 egg(s)
- n. B. Salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp Pul Biber
- 1 kg potatoes
- 2 Pepper
- 100 g cherry tomatoes
- 1 tbsp paprika paste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 400 ml water, boiling
- n. B. Salt
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp thyme
Instructions
Working time approx. 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 35 minutes

Finely chop the onion, crush the garlic, and finely chop the fresh parsley. Mix all ingredients with the minced meat and knead for about 20 minutes. Form the mixture into meatballs. Slice the potatoes and arrange them in a circular layer on the baking sheet, alternating them with the meatballs. Garnish with the peppers and cherry tomatoes. Place in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 30 minutes. In the meantime, prepare the sauce. Fry 1 tablespoon of paprika paste in olive oil, add 400 ml of boiling water, season with salt and the herbs, and bring to a boil. Remove the meatballs from the oven, pour the hot sauce over them, and let them cook in the oven for another 20 minutes.
