Meatless: Vegetables – Tofu – Grill Skewers

Ingredients
 

  • 1 packet Herb tofu
  • 100 ml Water
  • Tomato paste
  • 3 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp Tabasco
  • 3 tbsp Sweet paprika powder
  • 2 pressed Garlic
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Peppers
  • 0,5 Zucchini fresh
  • Small mushrooms
  • Red salt or similar

Instructions
 

  • Mix the water with tomato paste, Tabasco, sweet paprika powder, soy sauce, the pressed garlic and a pinch of salt to a marinade and add the tofu cut into cubes (about 2x2x2cm) and let it steep for a few hours.
  • Cut the onions and zucchini into slices. Core the paprika and cut into pieces to skewer.
  • Then the mushrooms, cleaned with a brush, and the pickled tofu alternately with the cut vegetables on skewers. Put some of the marinade on and over the skewers and then grill the skewers.
  • These grill skewers were served with a Swabian potato salad and you can find it here in my cookbook 😉
