Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 small flat schnitzels, turkey or pork
- 4 slices of ham (Serrano)
- 1 cup herb cream cheese
- 8 slice(s) of processed cheese or raclette cheese
- olive oil
- salt and pepper
- marjoram
- oregano
- Thyme

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Deliciously light
Wash the meat and pat dry with kitchen paper. Then season both sides with salt, pepper, and herbs. Place it in a shallow, olive-greased baking dish. Then generously spread the cream cheese (preferably with a tablespoon) in the center. Cover with the Serrano ham and cheese slices. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (convection oven) for about 35-40 minutes. If you’re using a pizza or grill function, simply let the cheese brown for the last 5 minutes. Tip: You can turn the meat juices into a delicious tomato sauce with water and tomato paste, and then serve it with pasta. It’s also delicious with baguette, potatoes, zucchini and tomato gratin, etc.
