Melon Jam

The perfect melon jam recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 0,5 Honeydew melon
  • 0,5 Vanilla pod
  • 1 Lemon
  • 125 g Preserving sugar 1: 1
  1. Hollow out the melon seeds and peel the melon. Roughly dice and puree finely. Halve the vanilla pod lengthways and scrape out the pulp. Halve and squeeze the lemon.
  2. Bring the melon puree, vanilla pod, pulp and lemon juice to the boil. Stir in sugar and simmer gently for 5 minutes. Pour into clean screw-top jars. Made 4 small glasses! Immediately turn upside down and let cool down! Store in a dark place! 🙂
  3. You can also use any other melon for this! 🙂
