Melon Jam
The perfect melon jam recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 0,5 Honeydew melon
- 0,5 Vanilla pod
- 1 Lemon
- 125 g Preserving sugar 1: 1
- Hollow out the melon seeds and peel the melon. Roughly dice and puree finely. Halve the vanilla pod lengthways and scrape out the pulp. Halve and squeeze the lemon.
- Bring the melon puree, vanilla pod, pulp and lemon juice to the boil. Stir in sugar and simmer gently for 5 minutes. Pour into clean screw-top jars. Made 4 small glasses! Immediately turn upside down and let cool down! Store in a dark place! 🙂
- You can also use any other melon for this! 🙂
