Lemon and Sugar Melon Jam

The perfect lemon and sugar melon jam recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 800 g Sweet melon fresh
  • 1 Pc. Lemons organic
  • 600 g Lemons fresh
  • 1 kg Preserving sugar 2: 1
  1. Wash and rub the peel of the organic lemon. Fillet the organic lemon and another one and cut the pulp into small pieces. Squeeze the rest of the lemons, collect 300ml of juice and keep ready.
  2. Halve, core and peel the melon and cut the flesh into small pieces. Put 800g in a not too small saucepan and mix 2: 1 with the preserving sugar. Process with the hand blender to a smooth mass.
  3. Add lemon zest, lemon pulp and lemon juice and stir in. Cover and leave to stand for a good hour.
  4. Bring to the boil and let it simmer for 4 minutes. Pour hot into prepared glasses, briefly turn the glasses upside down and then let them cool down.
