Ingredients

  • 500 g Pulp of a reticulated melon
  • 250 g Preserving sugar 2: 1
  • 1 packet Citric acid
  • 1 shot Orange liqueur

Instructions

  • Puree the roughly diced melon pulp in a large saucepan. Mix with the preserving sugar and bring to the boil. Add citric acid. Let simmer for approx. 4 - 5 minutes while stirring. Make a gel test.
  • Finally, stir in another shot (for me it was about 4 - 5 tablespoons) of orange liqueur. Immediately pour the jam into prepared jars, close tightly and turn them upside down for 5 minutes. Then turn it over and let it cool down.
  • The amount gave me two jars of jam.
