Ingredients

  • 1 Honeydew melon
  • 200 g Raw ham
  • 200 g Parma, Serano, Black Forests ...
  • 250 g Mozzarella minis
  • 1 bunch Fresh basil
  • 8 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 tbsp White balsamic vinegar
  • Salt
  • Telly cherry pepper

Instructions

  • Quarter the melon and remove the core, peel and cut into wedges. Spread out on a serving platter along the edge. Then trap the ham of your choice (with us Serano & Black Forest ham) unmixed or mixed with the melon and place the drained mozzarella in the middle!
  • Then pluck the basil leaves and puree with olive oil, balsamic vinegar and salt! Spread over the melon, ham and mozzarella. Finally pepper! Serve with a baguette or other bread! Served as a main course, but also works great as a starter on small plates! 🙂

I am a Registered Nutritionist-Dietitian. Shortly after taking and passing the licensure examination for Nutritionist-Dietitians, I pursued a Diploma in Culinary Arts, so I am also a certified chef. I decided to supplement my license with a study in the culinary arts because I believe that it will help me harness the best of my knowledge with real-world applications that can help people. These two passions form part and parcel of my professional life, and I am excited to work with any project that involves food, nutrition, fitness, and health.
