Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 4 slices of toast
- 4 pork medallions
- 2 mushrooms
- 2 tbsp bacon cubes
- 1 m.-sized onion(s)
- 2 tsp, heaped herbs, frozen, mixed
- 2 slices of raclette cheese or mountain cheese
- 1 tsp butter
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Dice the onion and mushrooms. Heat the butter in a pan and brown the onion. Add the bacon and mushrooms and fry. Season with pepper and add the herbs. Transfer everything to a bowl. Toast the bread. Flatten the medallions slightly, season with salt and pepper, and coat in flour. Heat a little more butter or oil in the same pan, briefly sear the medallions on both sides, and then remove from the pan. For each serving, place two slices of bread next to each other, place two medallions on top, and spread the onion and mushroom mixture on top. Place the cheese on top and bake in the oven at 180°C for about 10 minutes. Serve with a salad.
