Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 100 g chocolate (milk)
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 tbsp cream
  • 500 ml milk
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 4 cl brandy
  • 4 stalk(s) cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Roughly break the chocolate into pieces and place it in a saucepan with the cocoa, vanilla sugar, cinnamon, and sugar. Heat over low heat until the chocolate is dissolved. Add the milk and heat gently, stirring, but do not boil. Remove from the heat and whisk the egg yolks and sugar until frothy. Whisk the brandy into the milk mixture. Immediately ladle into mugs and serve with long cinnamon sticks (for stirring).
