Milanese macaroni salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 125 g pasta (macaroni), cooked, cut into pieces
  • 250 g Salami, Milanese, cut into strips
  • ½ cucumber(s), halved, pitted, sliced
  • 2 tomatoes, peeled, diced
  • 1 onion(s), cut into rings
  • 200 g cheese (Emmental), diced
  • ½ head of lettuce (endive or Chinese cabbage), cut into strips
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 tbsp white wine
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 1 tbsp dill, chopped
  • Cayenne pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Combine the first 7 ingredients, prepared as described above, in a bowl. Combine the mustard, vinegar, and white wine, whisk in the oil, and season with salt, pepper, sugar, and cayenne pepper. Pour the dressing over the ingredients in the bowl and mix well. Sprinkle with dill to serve. A salad you won’t find at every party!
