Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 100 g millet
  • 200 ml water
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 300 g pear(s)
  • 300 ml sour milk
  • 2 tsp honey, liquid
  • 1 pinch(s) cinnamon powder
  • 40 g walnuts, roughly chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Place the millet in a saucepan with the water and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil and let it swell over low heat for about 10 minutes. Transfer the swollen millet to a bowl and let it cool slightly. In the meantime, wash, quarter, core, and finely dice the pears. Mix the pear cubes with the millet. Mix the sour milk, honey, and cinnamon powder and pour over the muesli. Sprinkle the muesli with the coarsely chopped walnuts and serve. Tips: If you like, you can add a tablespoon of ground flaxseed and a dash of linseed oil. If you don’t have sour milk, you can also mix yogurt and buttermilk in a 1:1 ratio.
