Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 500 g minced meat
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 flatbread(s)
  • 300 g cream cheese
  • 4 slices of cheese (Gouda)
  • salt and pepper
  • Herbs of Provence

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel the onion and dice it into small cubes. Dice the tomatoes. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the minced meat until crumbly and brown. Add the onion and fry. Add the tomato paste, water, and diced tomatoes and fry. Season everything generously with salt, pepper, and Provençal herbs. Cut the flatbread in half crosswise. Spread both halves with the cream cheese. Spread the minced meat mixture on the bottom half. Place the Gouda on top. Place the bottom half in the oven preheated to 180°C and bake for 10 minutes, then cover and bake for another 5 minutes.
