Minced meat – leek – sauce

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 stalk(s) leeks
  • 3 tbsp ketchup
  • 3 tbsp mustard
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper
  • oregano
  • Thyme
  • marjoram
  • chili powder or
  • Tabasco
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • possibly tomato(s), pureed
  • possibly onion(s)
  • possibly garlic

easy and very quick to prepare

Slice the leek into rings and fry them well with the minced meat in oil (e.g., rapeseed oil). Then gradually add the ketchup, tomato paste, mustard, and seasonings and simmer on low heat for about 3-4 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the sour cream. If the sauce isn’t thin enough, you can stir in a can or packet of passata. If desired, you can also add onions and garlic. This goes well with pasta. Rigatoni or fusilli are excellent choices; they absorb the sauce best.
